The Fern Farmer

2025: Design Studio & Retail space opening in Howard County, Maryland

Ashley Conlon is “The Fern Farmer”. She is a local farmer/grower, award-winning floral designer, and Master Gardener. Her primary focus is styling plants and flowers at equestrian events. Ashley’s passion for sport horses, and savvy for design, allows her to make “show-day” effortless for even the most budget-conscious organizers. The Fern Farmer regularly designs for the region’s recognized fox hunting clubs-making race day and galas all-the-more fantastic.

At a young age, Ashley’s grandmother taught her how to style vases with flowers grown from the garden. Today, not just flowers are growing at home... Five young children help tend to the gardens (and 40-plus animals) on her Mount Airy farm.
